Accomplishments

• Collected agency policies and monitored compliance with SB 25-276, summarizing required protections in clear, accessible language

• Advocated for immigrant protections through testimony at school board, county commissioner, and hospital board meetings, and in response to local ICE activity

• Coordinated with the statewide Immigrant Partnership Team on priority legislation and statewide and federal advocacy actions

• Organized a Zoom webinar for businesses that employ immigrants, featuring presentations by the American Business Immigration Coalition and an immigration attorney

• Built communication infrastructure by launching the Chaffee Immigrant Partnership Team Facebook page and providing regular internal updates on state and federal developments, with suggested advocacy actions and sample messaging

• Integrate agency policy summaries, advocacy resources, and community information into the forthcoming website

• Continue monitoring public agency compliance with SB 25-276

• Maintain coordination with the statewide Immigrant Partnership Team on legislative and advocacy priorities

• Convene local organizations working in the immigration space to advance a collaborative initiative
